Driving Strategic Talent Acquisition and HR Excellence for Offshore Renewable Energy Projects
A leading energy company, pivotal in Europe's transition to renewable energy, aimed to expand its offshore wind energy capacity to 4,000 megawatts (MW) by 2025. To support this growth, the company sought to attract top talent across diverse roles—ranging from C-level executives to skilled blue-collar workers—while establishing a new offshore entity in an international market. I led all HR-related efforts to achieve these goals. Taking initiative, I managed recruitment for high-impact roles by conducting assessment centers, designing and implementing global sourcing strategies, and ensuring seamless onboarding and cultural integration. I spearheaded end-to-end recruitment across multiple projects, ensuring regulatory compliance and aligning talent acquisition with strategic objectives. This included recruiting critical leadership positions, such as the CEO for the new international entity, and establishing comprehensive HR support systems, including retirement plans, health insurance, payroll, and benefits, in collaboration with international teams.
